Pick the model for the job: Eleven v4 for expressive voiceovers and audiobooks, v4 Turbo or Flash v2.5 for low-latency agents and bulk work (elevenlabs.io docs, September 2026).

Eleven v3 supports audio tags for fine control of delivery; use them sparingly and listen back.

Lower Stability for more expressive narration, raise it for steady, consistent voiceovers.

Use Speech to Speech when you need a specific emotional delivery: record the read yourself and apply the target voice.

For long-form audio, use Studio (projects) so chapters keep the same voice and you can regenerate single lines.
