- Token burn
- Low burn
Token-efficient; free tiers go a long way. Last reviewed September 2026; plans and model names change often, so check the tool's own pricing page before you buy.
FLUX.2 is the current family: [pro] for the best quality, [flex] when you want to trade detail for speed with the steps setting, and [dev] as open weights (bfl.ai, September 2026).
Pricing is per megapixel (1 credit = $0.01), so larger images cost more; generate at the size you actually need.
Write detailed prompts: FLUX follows specific colour, lens and lighting instructions well.
Use reference images for editing and consistency; FLUX.2 supports single- and multi-reference editing.
Explore with [flex] at fewer steps, then render the chosen concept with [pro].
Use it through the BFL API or a hosting provider; compare the provider's price with BFL's calculator.
Check the licence before commercial use of [dev] outputs or self-hosting.
